What is FBO software?
"FBO software" usually means one of two things: a management system that runs fuel sales, customer accounts, and ramp-service billing (FBO One, Total FBO, MyFBO), or operations software that manages the physical ramp and hangar space. AirPlx is the second kind, built specifically for FBOs, MROs, and airport operations to plan capacity, schedule aircraft into real positions in 3D, and produce billing-ready occupancy data. Most FBOs run both: a management system for the money, AirPlx for the space.
Is AirPlx a full FBO management system like FBO One or Total FBO?
No, and we'll tell you that on the first call. AirPlx doesn't sell fuel, run a POS, or keep your customer ledger. Those systems do that well, and we don't replace them. AirPlx is the operations layer they leave out: 3D hangar and ramp capacity, departure-aware layouts, conflict detection, and position-level occupancy reporting. Most operators run AirPlx alongside their FBO management system and reconcile via CSV or API.
